XULPlayer is a unique media player for Windows which is based on the well-known open source project known as MPlayer. In a word: XULPlayer can play most audio and video formats without the need to install additional codecs or codec packs.
The overall layout of this media player is excellent. You're given an easy-to-read and organize playlist in the bottom pane of the layout and in the upper section, a view of what's currently playing.
Version 0.6.0 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
