WhatsApple is a client for WhatsApp on your desktop PC which currently works.
The client itself is actually Pidgin but the application comes bundled with a WhatsApp password generator which will assist you in setting up your WhatsApp account for usage with the Pidgin client.
Instructions for using WhatsApple - WhatsApp Client for PC:
To get started, you should run the program called "WhatsApp Password Generator" which comes with this package. You should then enter your full phone number (without ), including the country code.
Version 0.1.4.0 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
