WebcamMax adds thousands of fun effects and gags to your webcam stream in real-time. Similar to some of the free software which comes pre-installed with your webcam, WebcamMax is an extension of that type of application which literally adds many new effects where your free version left off.
The difference between what we tried with ArcSoft Webcam Companion and WebcamMax is that the latter contains many more effects and also provides additional tools such as streaming without your webcam turned on by providing you with a virtual webcam, allowing you to share your funky webcam stream on YouTube and while doing so, providing access to a painting tool similar to MS Paint.
WebcamMax works with virtually any program or instant messenger which uses your Webcam and new effects are easily downloaded from the developer's web site.
WebcamMax 8.0.7.8 is a shareware program and can be used as a demo to try the software until the free trial period has ended. A full version of the program is available after the trial period ends.
