UnHackMe is a real-time rootkit scanner. It constantly monitors your computer for the presence of a rootkit and alerts you when something suspicious is found. It accomplishes the actual scan process by watching what your computer is running at start-up.

The Russian company offers updates from time-to-time and the latest version can detect even more known rootkits such as ZeroAccess, TLD rootkit and other adware components which are normally installed without the users' knowledge.

Unfortunately, this is not free software. Since it is a rather unique way of finding rootkits, we don't currently have a freeware alternative!
