UltimateZip is a WinZIP and 7-Zip alternative which supports multiple different file archives. It compresses and decompresses these files with moderate speed. Some of the formats that UltimateZip can deal with include RAR, ARJ, ZIP, ACE, ZOO, ARC, 7-ZIP and compression formats normally used on UNIX-based systems like Linux and Mac OS X.

Furthermore, UltimateZip can also create and decompress AES-encrypted Zip files in 128-bit, 192-bit and 256-bit encryption strengths. Furthermore, unlike some of the other rivals in the file archiver arena, UltimateZip comes with a repair tool to repair damaged zip files, supports batch operations; can compress multiple files to multiple archives and much more with only one or two mouse clicks.
