Trillian is a popular instant messaging application which can connect to most of the popular online IM services, enable chat over a number of networks.
The program is capable of logging users in to ICQ, MSN Messenger, AIM, Yahoo! Messenger and even IRC networks. It provides all of the common functionality over these networks including, when applicable, access to file transfers, emoticons, video chat and contacts.
Version 6.5.39 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
