Argus DVR is a video capturing program which works with USB cameras, IP cameras and video capture cards. It is controllable remotely without the requirement of a remote monitor, keyboard or mouse making it possible to hide the setup. The program has the unique ability to overcome full disk errors by cycling the recording, meaning it will start from the beginning of the file and record over the oldest material.
Argus has added new features to this software which include the possiblity of recording only when motion is detected, using special face recognition technology or simply on a schedule.
Argus Surveillance 4.0 is a shareware program and can be used as a demo to try the software until the free trial period has ended. A full version of the program is available after the trial period ends.
