Sophie Author is a free authoring tool which can create attractive presentations by embedding both audio and video files. It is packed with excellent features and can create PDF books or multimedia files for use within an organization.
The program is complex, but includes a lot of reading material on their web site. The program supports text, images, audio and video along with supporting drag-and-drop of different elements directly into projects.
Version 2.1 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
