With similar programs such as WinX's virtual drive mounting and DAEMON Tools' products, here we have another entry into the virtual DVD and CD mounting arena.
SoftDisc by EZB can manage several types of CD, DVD and Blu-ray images, mounting them as a virtual drive on your computer accessible via the Windows system tray. Suggested usage of programs like this is if you have a game CD backup on your hard drive in formats like ISO/BIN/CUE, you can mount them to a virtual drive as if the disc was actually inserted into the CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive.
As a step up on the popular freeware competition, SoftDisc can actually help you obtain the disc backups by ripping them from the actual physical disc and then mount it on the virtual drive.
SoftDisc 3.0.3.349 is a shareware program and can be used as a demo to try the software until the free trial period has ended. A full version of the program is available after the trial period ends.
