Safe PST, originally a shareware application, has now gone freeware and offers a free tool to backup Email, Contact and other folders for Microsoft Outlook. It can also create an Outlook PST backup email archive.
Safe PST allows users to quickly create backups of important email data with little effort: no more than a few clicks from within its very simple and straight-forward user interface.
Safe PST Backup supports an incremental backup model, works completely in the background, can perform operations with or without Outlook running in the background and can backup PST files complete with a password.
Version 3.00 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
