STOIK Capturer

STOIK Capturer is a free and portable video capturing program which takes advantage of your current Windows display adapter driver. The software promises high quality video capture with high frame rates.

This particular video capture software is compatible with web cams, many TV capture cards and camcorders which are compatible with Windows. Video captured using STOIK Capturer is saved to AVI files or Windows Media Video (WMV).

STOIK allows you to compress you output videos with codecs you have installed on your PC, you can capture your videos through temporary files in order to combat dropped frames and if you've run out of space for your movie, a new file will automatically be created. Additionally, if you have a device with a controller, STOIK supports device controller from within the main application window.

Overall, STOIK is a great freeware webcam capturer, DV camcorder capturer and provides a very simple interface for quick and easy setup.
