There have been a load of different types of compression programs available for Windows, but Quick Zip is a little bit different for the fact that it is offered as a freeware application. While freeware file archivers are quite common these days, Quick Zip provides a lot of the features you would expect with a commercial product.
Geared towards both power users and novices, Quick Zip has a well-designed interface. The main interface includes all of the normal features you might need and provides a Windows Explorer-style list of files and folders along with the properties of archives.
Version 5.1.16.0 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
