QuickPar
Software Review:
QuickPar is a utility (in fact, THE utility) to create, verify and view PAR or parity files found commonly on filesharing services and usenet newsgroups. It is a very common tool to recover files which have become corrupted or damaged as a result of usenet errors and retention problems.
While using QuickPar, you may select the AutoRepair check box to automatically repair damaged files from within the archive set.
When QuickPar has complete its task of repair PAR and PAR2 files, it will automatically delete the damaged files which contain incomplete data.
Version 0.9.1 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
