A free homebrew SNES emulator for the jailbreak Playstation 3

EIZ's port of Snes9x - a Super Nintendo emulator - for the PS3. Play Super NES games on your PlayStation 3. This application turns your PS3 into a retro-style gaming machine and what retro arcade would be complete without the shenanigans of Super Mario World? I've also tested running some "Mario Hacks" with this and they are a little choppy at the moment. Look forward to future development.

It works, but there are no save states nor is there a GUI or any options that I can see to configure it. Since this is an early build of a port of snesx, I suspect future versions are going to have more options available.

I've only tried two games on this and those are Super Mario World and Super Mario All Stars (SMB 1, SMB2, SMB3, SMW). Save states will make this so much more fun.

I've got to agree with you there! There is nothing more frustrating than losing hours of gaming due to a game crash or an untimely power outage! To not even have the option to save at all would make it unplayable to me. I like to play at my own pace, and trying to finish a game in one sitting would be next to impossible.

It's also annoying because when I accidentally press R1 and R2, the game quits. Hopefully it will be sorted in future versions!
