PECompact

PECompact is a compressor which compressions Windows modules such as EXE, DLL and SCR. After compressing these types of files, they will work exactly as they did before compression, leaving space on your drive for other data. The developer also promises to increase the loading time of EXE files.

PECompact will add an extra layer of security to files, since the data is more compressed, a great tool to help prevent reverse engineering. It supports many different compression methods including LZMA. The program comes pack with both command-line utilities and a GUI.

PECompact download compresses Windows modules (EXE, DLL, SCR, etc..) substantially, while leaving them able to be run just as before. At runtime, compressed modules are rapidly decompressed in memory. Smaller (>50%) size usually means quicker load time. PECompact generally compresses files much smaller than if they had been compressed by modern data compression software such as RAR.

PECompact 3.03.12 beta is licensed as Shareware for the Windows operating system / platform and can be used as a free trial until the trial period ends. PECompact is available to all software users as a free download (Shareware) with potential restrictions and is not necessarily the download of the full version.
