Extremely useful for public networks, MyPublicWiFi is a great freeware networking program which allows you to provide a repeater for WiFi networks in your vicinity. It is completely free and easy-to-use with several configuration options for the advanced user.

To share a wireless connection, type the name (SSID) of the Wireless network in the SSID field, add the password or network key and from the drop-down dialog box, select the connection you'd like to share.

Upon activation of the repeater, you're able to see exactly WHO is using the network from the connections tab.

MyPublicWiFi is straight-forward and easily configured, though unlike popular commercial and paid software solutions, you're not given the highest number of configuration options, but it still allows you to repeat your WiFi network for free.

Please note that when you're using this software and you've made changes to the setup, MyPublicWiFi will require you to reboot your system for the changes to come into effect. This was tested with a 64-bit Windows 7 system but also works in 32-bit environments!

The MyPublicWiFi-Firewall is also optional.

MyPublicWiFi 1.0 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform without restrictions. MyPublicWiFi is available to all software users as a free download (Freeware).
