If you're looking for a more secure way to save your passwords, then CoffeeCup Software's LockBox password manager is a good option.
As a password manager, LockBox can thank its security to 448-bit encryption, which by today's standards, is pretty tight. To access this encryption, you're going to have to setup a master password when you install the application. Once you've installed it with your secret password, you'll need to use it to access your usernames and passwords.
CoffeeCup LockBox 6.0 is a shareware program and can be used as a demo to try the software until the free trial period has ended. A full version of the program is available after the trial period ends.
