KGB Archiver can turn your large files into something much smaller by compressing them into KGB's own compression format, with further support for creating ZIP files with similar compression ratios.
KGB offers you the ability to choose which compression rate you'd like to use for making files smaller; you can choose from between minimum compression rate to a maximum compression rate and turn a digital photo which weighs in at 4.0MB to a compressed size of only around 1.
Version 2.0.0.2 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
