IconX by Stardock is a lovely desktop and desktop icon management tool. It allows you to arrange your icons anyway you want. It can organize icons the way you'd like them and can also add special effects such as shadows to your icons. Another cool visual effect of IconX running on Windows is the hovering effect you can get which increases the size of the icon when the cursor passes over it.
IconX 1.1 is a shareware program and can be used as a demo to try the software until the free trial period has ended. A full version of the program is available after the trial period ends.
