The time has finally come that users from across the planet can access online services normally available in the United States only. If you're in Canada or anywhere else in the world, Hotspot Shield now offers an unlimited free VPN service which is ad supported.

The price of a VPN can sometimes be an expensive investment just to be able to watch region-restricted content like Discovery Channel Online, Hulu, Netflix USA or a huge array of services only available in the United States.

How can Canadians access Hulu? How can you access USA Network in Canada? Want to watch the U.S. version of Netflix? Hotspot shield is the perfect companion.

When we last tested this program, we were also able to watch programs with the PlayOn media player by Mediamall in Canada. Users in Australia, Germany and the United Kingdom have also reported success at watching services like Hulu and the U.S. version of Netflix.

Keep in mind this is a free solution and it normally works, but Hulu tends to block known IP addresses served by Hotspot Shield. This program is also ad-supported and ads might interfere with the viewing of videos.
