GreenShot really provides an easy and convenient to capture and then edit screen captures well to edit them in its built-in image editor.
It has four key combinations for different ways of recording the images on your PC screen. PRNTSCRN to capture the screen, Shift/PRNTSCRN for the last region selected, Alt/PRNTSCRN to record the active window and CTRL/PRNTSCRN to capture the full.
When you're capturing a part of the screen, then what has been captured is no secret as it changes color.
Version 1.2.10.6 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
