Gmote Server is the PC counterpart to the Android application Gmote client; It is a remote desktop program which enables owners of an Android tablet or phone to control their PC.
The tool allows for remote connections which then allows the Android client to control playback of multimedia such a movies and music.
The application is rather basic and supports typical playback commands you would find on a DVD player or video player. You can also use it to seek through playlists and adjust volume.
Version 2.0.2 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
