Software Review:
GIMPShop is a simplifed installation package which installs the required packages in order to run GIMP on Windows. Apart from offering a separate installation package, GIMPShop does not offer any extra features which cannot be obtained by downloading the official GIMP packages (which are also available on this site).
You should note that the installation package being offered by the distributors of GIMPShop may contain unwanted toolbars and advertisements which are not normally included in the original package available from the open source community or from that offered on Sourceforge.
In all, GIMP is a very powerful image editing suite which offers many of the tools available from Adobe Photoshop.
Version 2.8.0 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
