Fresh Download

After reviewing Fresh Diagnose, I immediately became a fan of Freshdevices' software, not only because they are basically free, but because the UI is just so well laid-out. Anyways, it's a download manager without the spyware and annoying malware you find in most free download managers. Surprisely (for a download manager), it doesn't even give you the option to bundle in an Ask toolbar or Google Chrome.

The usage of this program couldn't be simpler and for that, it's less-prone to crashes and eating away at your system resources.

Fresh Download supports multiple connections to multiple sites and supports HTTP, HTTPS (Secure HTTP) and FTP. When a download stops or you experience an interruption to your Internet connection, FD can resume interrupted files and continue the download.

This program is a standalone app, meaning you don't have to bother cluttering up your browser with another toolbar; Simply copy the URL of the download into Fresh Download's Add dialogue.

FD's personal version contains several standard options you might expect to find in a good download manager like limiting speeds, scheduling and checking for updates to previously downloaded files.
