FreeRIP

FreeRIP is a totally free and easy-to-use Audio CD ripping application which effectively converts clunky and otherwise obsolete audio CDs to files playable on your PC, portable mp3 players, iPods and other Apple devices like the iPad and other portable devices.

FreeRIP currently supports popular formats such as mp3s, FLAC files, Windows Media Audio WMA files and a cool ID3 tagger which can display the album, title and artist of the file currently being player.

FreeRIP also includes some audio editing functions which can normalize audio, change the volume and some other handy tools. The files that FreeRIP can output are generally playable on devices such as Walkmans, Zen Player, Discman and more.
