FileToFolder is a free and simple application which helps users organize their filesystem by providing the quick ability to create folders based on filenames and extensions. It's a great tool for usage on folders like your browser's default download directory.
The application can create sub-folders, delete empty folders and reverse the process, too. The interface for completing tasks is quite basic and easy-to-use while also offering the ability to work directly from Windows Explorer via context menus.
Version 6.2.1.0 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
