FastStone Photo Resizer comes from the makers of the very well-made FastStone Image Viewer.
The tool is very easy to use and provides you with ways to convert files between formats. It doesn't stop there as FastStone Image Viewer can also complete many of the tasks that FastStone Image Viewer can do -- but as batch processes including: saturation, sharpness, border effects, text overlays, watermarks, cropping, color depth and more. Almost everything can be configured to your liking.
Version 4.4 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
