FakeFlashTest was designed to quickly check if flash memory devices are fake, it does not check all memory for faults.
Essentially, the utility will detect whether a device has been programmed to lie about its size. These types of devices are commonly sold online or in sketchy markets.
FakeFlashTest only reads and writes the normal, standard sectors on your memory device.
Version 1.1.5 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
