Whether or not your have VLC Media Player installed, EDM2014 Video Player acts as an alternative which bills itself as an alternative video player featuring a simple interface.
As with most video players, the interface is usually the main point of choosing one over the other, though this one doesn't include too many features you wouldn't find elsewhere; though it's really user preference now-a-days. With that said, EDM2014 does include a couple of manual adjustments which comes in handy.
Version 3.1.0 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
