Trend Micro DirectPass is a password manager for Windows which safely and securely keeps your collection of username and password combinations behind an encrypted database, only accessible with your own master password.
By keeping passwords hidden behind a password manager like Trend Micro's DirectPass, you are effectively keeping them safe against many different types of online threats like hackers, malware attempting to steal passwords and identity and viruses which try to grab any password it finds on your system and subsequently sends it to its master's email address.
One thing that makes DirectPass a little bit different than other password managers is that it is connected to an online cloud; this means that you're able to share your passwords across portable devices with Trend Micro's Android and iOS apps. Using a cloud password manager is actually quite handy, because if you ever do experience data corruption, your passwords will still be accessible via the cloud.
