DAEMON Tools Lite

DAEMON Tools Lite is the free version of a very stable CD/DVD/BD drive emulator which is commonly needed to access BIN and ISO files as a disc, without actually burning the disc to a CD or DVD disc, thus wasting it if you're not ready to archive the data on such medium.

DAEMON Tools is highly successful and the lite version does a lot of what the paid versions do and can emulation up to 4 virtual drives. It can also change the DVD region of the virtual drives making it possible to watch DVD images from other regions from your system which doesn't necessarily have a DVD drive with that particular region set.

DAEMON Tools Lite is able to mount images with virtually all different types of copy protection schemes, making it easy to access these images from a virtual CD drive on your system.

Running game backups from your computer system has never been easier, meaning you don't need to actually have the disk in the drive to play the games, just mount the image from within the DAEMON Tools Lite menu from within the Windows taskbar.

This version of DAEMON Tools is able to handle a long list of different formats of CD/DVD images created by programs such as CloneCD (CCD Files), Nero Files (NRG), B5T (BlindWrite files) and many more. Additionally, it supports .mdx, .mdf, .b6t, .bwt, .ape/.cue and .isz disc images.

Finally, DAEMON Tools Lite is unique in that most rivals don't offer a free version of these software while DT Soft remains committed to their freeware following. It is available for free for non-commercial use; users in a commercial setting must purchase a license.
