DVD Drive (icon) Repair is a useful tool to have which basically enables the restoration of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM icon which sometimes disappears for whatever reason.
Whether or not a missing DVD icon is because of a malware attack or a Windows bug, DVD Drive (icon) Repair restores that option so that your optical drives would then be accessible from Windows Explorer.
