DVDSmith Movie Backup is a tool to make backup copies of your DVD movie disc collection; it features a user interface that's easy-to-use, thus no advanced knowledge is required.
The program offers two options, extract data from the entire disc or only the main movie or video. Then just choose the destination folder and click Start Backup.
The duration of the copying depends on the size of the disc, but the result is pretty good and it can skip most common protections.
Version 1.08 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
