BulletsPassView (Bullet Password Asterisk Revealer) is a free recovery tool for lost or forgotten passwords which are already saved on your system and otherwise hidden behind asterisks (***). It is compatible with newer versions of Windows and can help unveal the passwords of programs such as Windows, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, MS Word and popular FTP clients.
It relies on the standard password text box on Windows, so if the program uses the standard Windows API for creating these fields, it is likely that BulletsPassView can reveal what is hidden behind the asterisks.
This program can then export your recovered passwords to an Excel spreadsheet or alternatively to a text, html or xml file.
Version 1.32 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
