BitPIM is a free utility for working with older CDMA cell phones from a variety of producers such as Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson, Nokia and others. It generally supports Qualcomm chipsets.
The program offers a number of different features for managing and viewing data on cell phones. It deals primarily with SMS messages, wallpapers, call logs, calendars and the phonebook on the device.
Version 1.0.7 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
