Binary Boy is a yEnc- and NZB-compliant Usenet newsgroup reader. It supports the browsing and download of NZB files and will optionally download files and open them with external programs.
As a Usenet newgroup application, Binary Boy can search for files and messages using Boolean search. That means you're free to use "AND, OR and NOT" as search operators. BB also supports scheduled download for users on usage-based or time-based billing by their Internet Service Provider. It allows users to preserve and save cost on bandwidth by downloading large files during off-hours.
Binary Boy also supports the decoding of damaged files (like MPG or MP3), can playback partially downloaded files and supports yEnc, MIME, QP-Like and Bommanews decoding.
Binary Boy overall functions as the perfect newsgroup companion to pictures, movies, audio files and deal with yEnc and NZB file formats.
BB can also re-establish broken connections and resume the downloading of files. It is compatible with virtually any NNTP server provided by your ISP or third parties like GigaNews. From BinaryBoy:
