There has been a huge increase in usage of the Bit Torrent network, but many people have forgotten about the old days of being able to find single files on the Gnutella network: Ares Mod allows you to access these files without having to rely on torrent web sites though this filesharing application can also handle torrents.
This Ares modification has been developed for improved speed over previous versions of Ares and unlike some other Ares mods out there, Ares Mod does not seem to contain malware.
The main advantages of Ares Mod include increased download speeds, full control over current download tasks, an embedded web browser and a chat tool which allows you to communicate with other users connected to the network. Ares Mod also provides full access to statistics.
Version 2.6.6 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
