ACDSee is a professional tool to organize photos. The photo manager packs in a lot of power and features a very intuitive graphical user interface with access to some of the most modern tools, giving you access to some of the cool features and tools the experts use.

Upon installation, you will be given the option to install the ASK.com toolbar. Since this is a commercial product and quite expensive at that, we were a little disappointed to find out that ACDSee comes with this as a default installation option. We highly suggest unchecking the ASK.com addon. You will also be asked for your email address and full name to activate the 7 day trial when the program first starts.

After getting ACDSee running, you'll automatically be taken to your My Pictures folder and from there, you can view the files in there. For our testing, we just decided to stick to this folder.

The Photo Manager can list photographs by several different parameters. You can list them by rating, album, places and people. By accessing the information about photos stored by digital cameras, you can view photos by a huge slew of different options. Some of the more common ones ACDSee Photo Manager will list are by shutter speed, image type, aperature, focal length, filesize and more (available under "Commonly Used"). Other photo properties ACDSee can list by are more technical in nature and include camera brand, camera model, ISO speed ratings, shutter speed, white balance, white balance based on brand name, GPS data and many more.

Editing photos is also surprisingly easy. You can edit photos in many ways like adding text to photos, borders, special effects, exposure and lighting, colour balance and basic geometry like rotate/flip/crop/resize.

All-in-all, ACDSee will conveniently save all of your photo information in a compact database, making it easy to keep track of-, finding and editing photos easily.
