Information: Lucius Cornelius Alexander Polyhistor, c. 105 BC - 35 BC. Erudite Greek scholar who was sold into slavery in Rome, later freed and made a Roman citizen. His writings, said to have been extensive, survive only through quotes in the writings of others. H
