Information: Eel-like invertebrate craniates of the Class Myxini, formerly considered to be in Class Agnatha (jawless fish) along with Lampreys. There are about 20 species of hagfish divided into four genera (Myxine, Neomyxine, Paramyxine, and Eptatretus).
