Information: Belgian Romantic composer August de Boeck (1865-1937) was taught by Gilson and influnced by Rimsky-Korsakov and the Russian "Five," the Moguchaya Kuchka. He helped to introduce Impressionism to Belgium and wrote stage, choral, and chamber music.
