Introduction:

Whether you install or uninstall software, there is probably files that are left on your harddrive that are not useful anymore. A lot of files end up collecting on your harddrive and taking up space.

Surfing the internet, is where useless files keep on collecting and taking up harddrive space. Unless you keep a watch on it, cookies, temporary files, images, etc., will collect quickly and take up space.

Other space wasting files include: old registry links, backup files. (.bak), checkdisk files (.chk), duplicate files and empty folders.

System Lifeguard is a program can remove all these unnecesary files and do even more!

Functionality:

System Lifeguard is a program that gets rid of files that are wasting space, and this can potentially speed up your computer. System Lifeguard scans your computer for unnecessary files, and once the test is done, it will list all the files you can safely delete (in green), files that might be needed in yellow and files you should not delete in red.

You have the option, which I think is nice, is that if you're not sure what you are deleting, you have the ability in the program to backup the files you are going to delete, just in case you actually do need them. System Lifeguard, actually has zip compression ability so it can compress the files into a ZIP file. You can even FTP the zip file to a ftp server so you can get to it when you need to.

System Lifeguard does not stop there. You can uninstall programs, change what gets started up when you go into windows, clean your registry, and clean your internet files. You can also alter your Windows settings from the System Tweak tab. You can increase the speed of the animation, change the default search engine in Internet Explorer, and more.

Conclusion:

System Lifeguard is a great utility. It rids unnecessary files which your computer does not use. You can also schedule how often the program runs to clean your computer, to keep your harddrive in a clean and working order. There are a lot of features in this program which seemed like a bonus, like the ability to backup files before deleting, and also backing up to an FTP server.

What can I say about this program? I really found this program to be great in all aspects. It didn't lack anything, and makes everything easy to understand, while using a nice looking user interface which is easy to follow.
