Whether you're sick of the inflexibility of Windows' search feature or you're just not finding it effective, there are alternatives available such as Wise JetSearch.
With Wise JetSearch, you're given a simple and effective design which enables you to search through your filesystems for any type of file. Within the main interface, you're given a drop-down menu which provides a number of advanced options for searching such as the disk drive(s) and file extension.
After you've selected your opinion, choose some search terms (you may also employ asterisks[*]) and click the search button.
Version 4.1.4 is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
