WirelessMon is a network WiFi (Wireless LAN) network sniffing utility which can monitor the data transfer between wireless access points, gathering information on whether the access point is not secure and whether the access point is available for use. WirelessMon features a usage chart displaying potential problems with regards to interference and stability.
Newer releases of WirelessMon can check configuration o 802.11 configurations, test WiFi hardware and drivers, check the signal strength of the WiFi network and create signal strength maps over an area with the help of a GPS receiver.
WirelessMon can also trace the steps back to a wireless antenna. It is a very viable alternative to programs such as NetStumbler.
