UUSEE

Whether you've used P2P filesharing applications before, you may or may not know that this type of technology has more applications than just software piracy or downloading movies. It also powers UUSEE, a Chinese peer-to-peer live Internet television program.

UUSEE offers its users hundreds of channels of uninterrupted television programming which include hot sporting events, International movies, many television episodes from China and many English-language series with Chinese subtitles. UUSEE also displays video streams in a high definition format with crystal-clear clarity. Surprisingly, it is not censored by the central government in Beijing.

There is one issue, however: The UUSEE interface is not available in English so you're going to have to learn to get around with the simplified Chinese interface which can be difficult. On the other hand, with enough playing around, you're sure to find some programming that you'll find interesting.

If only this program was available in English, we would highly recommend it just because it offers so much television content for free. At the moment, it is perfect for Chinese expats not living in Asia and thus lack access to Asian television.
