Total Commander is a Windows file manager and possible Windows Explorer replacement produced by Swiss company Ghisler Software. It comes bundled with many extra features which go above and beyond what a file manager normally does, namely also serving as an FTP manager/client, a great idea for those whose job requires them to keep up with file versions on remote servers. Total Commander also includes file comparison tool, handy for quickly knowing which version of a file is current in whatever project you may be working on.
Commander features tabbed-browsing, extensive sorting and comparison tools and a strong hand at moving and organizing files and folders.
Total Commander 11.03 is a shareware program and can be used as a demo to try the software until the free trial period has ended. A full version of the program is available after the trial period ends.
