It has a range of features that allow animators to create traditional hand-drawn animations, as well as digital animations, using a variety of tools such as brushes, pencils, and vectors. It also currently includes features for compositing, 3D integration, and special effects.
One of the standout features of OpenToonz is the ability to use a technique called "vectorization", which allows animators to convert raster images into scalable vector images.
