Neosound FX

To start off, Neosound FX is no longer being produced nor has it been maintained for several years. With that said, don't expect any new updates on this software!

Neosound FX is a free audio editing program which supports a range of different playback formats such as Windows WAV files, MP3s, AIFFs and OGG files. It allows users to cut, copy, paste and mix tracks on projects that you're currently working on. Neosound FX also includes adding effects to your audio files including volume normalization, functions as bass boost software and can remove noise in audio tracks.

The layout of Neosound FX is pretty extensive and it resembles many other different programs in the category of audio editing tools.

It's a little sad that Neosound FX has discontinued development, because it was a very popular free audio editor back in the day, though there is still interest in Neosound FX, so we decided to relist it.

Neosound FX download can record, play sounds, import and export WAV, AIFF, MP3, and OGG files. Edit sounds using cut, copy, and paste features, mix tracks, or apply effects to your recordings. Neosound FX also has a built-in amplitude-envelope editor, a customizable spectrogram mode, and a frequency-analysis window for audio-analysis applications. Built-in effects include bass boost, wah wah, and noise removal, also supports VST plug-in effects.

Neosound FX 2.1 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform without restrictions. Neosound FX is available to all software users as a free download (Freeware).
