The HP SimplePass package provides the HP SimplePass Identity Protection Software for the supported notebook models and operating systems.
You can use HP SimplePass to log on to Windows using a fingerprint reader and quickly access your password-protected website accounts.
Enrolling your fingerprint is required to begin using HP SimplePass. However, you can select your Windows User Account password or a PIN instead of your enrolled fingerprint as your SimplePass.
Version 8.01.46 Rev.A is a freeware program which does not have restrictions and it's free so it doesn't cost anything.
