DiskBoost, developed by the folks over at Everstrike Software, is a system utility to improve performance by using a virtual RAM disk. It places temporary files onto the RAM disk, which provides much faster read-write access than a typical hard drive. DiskBoost also features handy security encryption schemes blocking unauthorized access and hackers from your data.
